Wayne Howell, DVM

Doc, as we so fondly call him around these parts, is a graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine (GO Cowboys!!). To know Doc is to love Doc.....he is a laid back, down to earth people person with an uncanny ability to work with horses.  Anyone who knows him has a story to tell on him and we take great pleasure in gatherin' up to relive the many experiences we have encountered throughout our years of knowing him.

On the serious side, Dr. Howell is a trusted and admired part of the community.  Clients come from near and far to bring their horses to Equine Medical Center so he can diagnose problems related to the equine foot, as well as just about any other ailment that can arise in a horse.

Dr. Howell, an AFA certified farrier, was the resident blacksmith for Oklahoma State University Equine Hospital and Hobeau Farms in Ocala, Florida.  He is a charter member Local 29 International Union of Journeymen Horseshoers and a lifetime member of the Brotherhood of Working Farriers Association.
